I photograph couples across Denver, up into the Rockies, and just about anywhere with a jaw dropping view and two people a little obsessed with each other. Weddings, elopements, the whole gloriously chaotic day that belongs to nobody but you.

For years I showed up to other people's weddings as a guest and watched the same scene play out every time. Someone tucked in the corner, lining everyone up, asking for one more smile. The pictures always came back fine. Fine was exactly the problem. I wanted the version you actually lived, not the one you posed for, so I picked up a camera to go find it. Turns out chasing that is the whole job, and I have not set it down since.

My work is guided documentary at its core and true to color always, none of those trendy tints that curdle before your first anniversary. I read the light, find the angle that looks the most like you, and steer the day without ever making it feel staged. I'll hype you up like you're walking a runway, then ease back the second you stop needing me. And somewhere in the middle of your vows I will almost certainly tear up and blame it on the wind. That's the arrangement. You stay fully inside your day, and I quietly make sure not a second of it gets away from us.

Five years and right around a hundred weddings in, I've learned the good stuff never happens on cue. So think of me as your favorite third wheel. Bring me the nerves, the plus ones, the family that needs a little handling, the parts you haven't figured out yet. I'll bring the calm, the cameras, and photographs that still feel unmistakably like you three decades from now.

A quick word on the birds in my logo, since people ask. They're seagulls, and they mate for life, riding the same wind as a pair. A little scrappy, endlessly loyal, always heading somewhere together. Felt like the right mascot for two people building a life, and for the person lucky enough to document it.
